We have a complimentary transfer from the center of Christchurch every day morning and afternoons. (Although this is not available for riders taking the one hour trek.)

Relax and enjoy a 3 hour adventure: take a 45min ride down to our tourist centre for a 1 hour farm show, then mount the horses and ride back to base.

Two hour Trek (Book now)
View spectacular mountain views of the Torlesse basin as we trek through the valley to the lookout point over the Waimakariri Gorge .
Stop for retreshments and fantastic photo opportunities of the Waimakariri canyon before we climb down the terraces of the Waimak Gorge .
This is one of our most popular rides for beginners to expert riders and for the experienced rider you have the opportunity to have a trot or canter across the open farm land.

Two hour Trek (Book now)
We cross the Midland Railway and amble along a cold mountain stream. There is a stop for refreshments, then we ride across the valley floor and ride out to view the mighty Waimakariri River Canyon before heading back home.
Spectacular mountain views, native forest, photo opportunities at every turn. At the end of your ride you are welcome to help with brushing down and grooming your horse.

Experienced riders only (Book now)
A real adventure following the musterers trail. Test your riding skills and challenge yourself to an exhilarating trail ride covering valley floors, traversing over the torlesse range and descending to Patersons creek and the Waimakariri River.
Four and a half hours in the saddle plus rest breaks every hour and breaks for morning & afternoon tea plus lunch. Total time approximately 6 hours from gate to gate. Note: due to terrain some leading of horses is required.
